COLOR LASER PRINTER

PURPOSE: A color laser printer is provided to realize a color picture by using one LSU(Laser Scanning Unit), thereby simplifying a structure of the color laser printer and reducing the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: An illuminating unit(10) includes first and second laser diodes applying one polarized light, a polarizing prism transmitting or reflecting the incident light according to a polarization direction, and third and fourth laser diodes arranged in a direction different from the first and second laser diodes. A rotary polygonal mirror(15) reflects lights incident from the illuminating unit in the same path. An f-&thgr; lens(20) focuses the lights reflected by the rotary polygonal mirror. First and second polarized beam splitters(21,22) transmit or reflect the lights passes through the f-&thgr; lens according to the polarization direction. The lights transmitted or reflected from the first and second polarized beam splitters enter first to fourth photo conductors(31,32,33,34). Lengths of optical paths from the first and second polarized beam splitters to first to fourth photo conductors are the same.
