PURPOSE: A system and a method for measuring a level of mixed liquid and determining a sort of mixed liquid are provided to determine that liquid contained in a reservoir is whether mixed liquid or pure liquid by using a ratio of capacitance. CONSTITUTION: A system includes a sensor module(1) having a specific gravity stick(20), a sensor section(15) surrounding the specific gravity stick(20), and a temperature sensor(10) installed at a lower portion of the sensor section(15). Signals are transmitted from the temperature sensor(10) and the sensor section(15) to a signal pre-processing section(30). A multiplexer(40) is provided to multiplex signals of the temperature sensor(10) and the sensor section(15). Capacitance ratio and capacitance variation value are stored in a memory(70). A microprocessor(60) is provided to determine a sort of mixed liquid. Information of mixed liquid is displayed in a display/alarm section(80). A communication section(90) is provided to transmit information of mixed liquid to an external device.
