PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer control device, electronic equipment and a data transfer control method that optimize transition control between a plurality of states of a host function and a peripheral function. SOLUTION: A signal state detection circuit 116 of the data transfer control device 100 notifies a processing part 130 about a detection result of a line state detection circuit 132 or a source line detection circuit 134 by an interrupt signal. The processing part 130 sets a state command corresponding to the state of a transition destination decided according to the notified detection result in a control register 112 of a state controller 110. A state command decoder 114 decodes the state command set in the control register 112 to generate a control signal. According to the control signal, a signal line detection circuit 120 controls at least one signal state of signal lines comprising a data signal line (D+, D-) and a source line (VBUS, GND).
