PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system capable of detecting dirt and clogging without errors regardless of indoor temperature, without having to add other detection means for detecting dirt on the filter of the system or increase costs. SOLUTION: The air-conditioning system has a filter, a fan, and a heat exchanger, all of which are disposed in an air passage. The heat exchanger has on its upstream side a suction temperature sensor; a motor rpm detecting means; an arithmetic control means for determining a complex variable from suction temperature, motor rpm, and the state quantity of a motor-driving applied voltage; and a determining means for determining whether the filter is clogged based on the complex variable to detect clogging of the filter.
