The tricycle has a drive wheel activated by pedals, two wheels (3) steerable by a steering device, a seat for a rider, and a frame supporting all other components. The frame has a shaft (1), on opposite sides of whcih are projecting side arms (2), the steering wheels being rotatably fixed on the ends of the two side arms. The seat (4) and the pedal shaft are fixed on the frame shaft and the steering shaft (9) is likewise rotatably fixed, being connectable with the steerable wheels via a steering rod assembly running along or through the two side arms.
