PURPOSE: A hot-wire cutting machine for expandable polystyrene is provided to cut a workpiece into various shapes without changing the position of the workpiece. CONSTITUTION: A couple of vertical feeding units(60) are coupled with both ends of a hot-wire(70) and a vertical movable shaft(40) to move up/down by a vertical driving motor(82). A couple of horizontal feeding units(50) are coupled with the bottom of the vertical movable shaft and a horizontal movable shaft(30) to move perpendicular to the hot-wire by a horizontal driving motor(81). A couple of fixed shafts(20) are installed at both ends of a worktable(10), and are coupled with the horizontal movable shaft. A control unit(90) controls the vertical driving motor and the horizontal driving motor.
