PURPOSE: A telematics buddy system is provided to prevent the overload of a call center and increase the desire of subscribe from the consumer by transmitting and receiving various information within a predetermined distance through a relay between the subscriber's car and the devices. CONSTITUTION: A telematics buddy system includes a satellite(1), a relay(2), a number of subscriber's cars(3) and a call center(4). The various information including the GPS information are collected and transmits to the subscriber's cars(3) through the relay(2) by a wireless communication. And, the call center(4) collects the information transmitted from the subscriber's cars(3) and the various devices. The telematics buddy system includes a bi-directional communication function and a buddy function capable of selectively transmitting and receiving various information such as a voice and character information within a predetermined distance through the relay(2) between devices in the subscriber's cars(3).
