CLASS AB BUFFER AMPLIFIER WITH CONTROLLING QUIESCENT CURRENT

PURPOSE: A class AB buffer amplifier with controlling quiescent current is provided to drive an external circuit by controlling the amount of the quiescent current and sourcing and sinking easily the current applied to an output terminal. CONSTITUTION: A class AB buffer amplifier for controlling quiescent current includes the first current control portion(410) and the second current control portion(420). The first current control portion(410) is used for sourcing the current to an output node in response to the first logic level of the first signal and buffering the input voltage in response to the second logic level of the first signal. The second current control portion(420) is used for sourcing the current to the output node in response to the second logic level of the second signal and buffering the input voltage in response to the first logic level of the second signal.
