A first motor (M1) drives two articulated rods (14,17) which have bearings (15,20) able to act as pulleys. The outer rod uses a bearing to support an echographic probe (4) whose motion is controlled by the articulated rods and also by two belts (23,25) which couple bearings/pulleys at the motor and rod articulations. The first motor may be turned about an axis (ii) at right angles to it's own axis (x'x') by a second motor (M2).
