<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lead terminal from scratching a sensor element when the sensor element is to be assembled to a sealing rubber for supporting the lead terminal in an oxygen sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A collar section 93 inclined to the side of a connector 8 is formed at the base edge side of the lead terminal 9. When a lead 7 is pulled to the side of the connector 8, the collar section 93 abuts on the bottom surface of the sealing rubber 6, and the tip side (the side of the terminal section 92) of the lead terminal 9 opens toward the outside. While the tip side of the lead terminal 9 is open, a side where the terminal section 21 of the sensor element 2 is provided is engaged and inserted into the sealing rubber 6, thus preventing the sensor element 2 from scratching the lead terminal 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
