PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for monitoring an access network service available for an end device which performs a communication in a heterogenous network environment. SOLUTION: There is a case that different access networks are available for the end device based upon a location of the end device and a time when the network is accessed. A subscriber of the system or a user of the end device requests access to a specific network according to an available access network. In order to determine which access network is available, an operator instructs the end device to determine the available access network located in the heterogenous network environment. Access network information is collected from at least one node in the heterogenous network and is made available to the operator.
