PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image receiving sheet which can preferably form an image with suppressed cracks, excellent offset resistance, high adhesion resistance, and excellent picture quality. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic image receiving sheet has at least a supporting body and an image receiving layer, and the image receiving layer contains a base coating layer containing a core-shell type acrylic emulsion and an accepting layer layered on the base coating layer and containing aqueous acryl varnish. The following embodiments are preferable that the number average molecular weight (Mn) of the aqueous acrylic varnish lies in the range of 3,000 to 30,000, or the glass transition point (Tg) of the aqueous acrylic varnish lies in the range of 30 to 100°C.
