PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently impart strength to a POF, to improve heat resistance so as to use the fiber for an automobile, domestic use or the like, to minimize the size, and to significantly simplify the manufacturing method or the structure to decrease the cost. SOLUTION: The purpose is realized by using a means to house the POF or a coated POF with a gap in the hole of a metal tube having an insulating layer having a heat insulating property, flame-retardant or fire proofing property, electric insulating property or the like around the outer surface.
