PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module which is reducible in manufacturing cost and has high reliability. SOLUTION: The optical module 10 is equipped with (1) an opto-electric circuit part 15, (2) a resin-made optical connector ferrule 22 as an optical interface, (3) an optical fiber 24 which connects the opto-electric circuit part 15 and optical connector ferrule 22 to each other, (4) a resin sealing part 26 which seals the opto-electric circuit part 16, optical connector ferrule 22, and optical fiber 24.
