PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus for a deterioration degree of an elastic body by which the deterioration degree of the elastic body such as a mattress or the like is measured simply in a usage state without a sampling operation, by which anybody objectively measures the deterioration degree without a need of skill for its measuring operation, which is small and lightweight and whose portability is superior. SOLUTION: The rear surface of a reference plate 1 placed on the mattress or the like is used as an elastic-body contact face 1A, and an opening 1B is formed in the center. A measuring-mechanism supporter 8 is installed inside a casing 2 erected and installed on the reference plate 1 so as to cover the opening 1B in the reference plate 1, and an elastic-force transmission body 14 supported by a support tube 13 so as to be slidable protrudes downward from the contact face 1A. A load cell is arranged on the upper end side of the transmission body 14, and a measurement decision part constituted of electronic components or the like used to display a strain signal of the load cell on a liquid crystal display 22 is installed inside the casing 2.
