A support structure has an uneven number of support arms (12) running radially with their outer sections set at an equal gap apart from each other. A stator (10) for a ring generator fastens on these outer sections. Vibrations formed between the support arms are distributed over the periphery. The uniform gap between the support arms and the wavelength of vibrations matching it can produce a drumming effect.
