PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder adapter allowing a conventional cylinder to be used in a new-type burner by attaching to a mouthpiece of the conventional cylinder which has a structure functionally same as that of a new-type cylinder, since a conventional gas cylinder can not be used in a new-type burner in accordance with the industrial standardization of the gas cylinder. SOLUTION: This cylinder adapter is provided with a doughnut-like body having an outer diameter almost as large as a cylinder flange, a protrusion formed on one side of the body and engaging with a notch formed in the cylinder flange, a locking hole for a gas cylinder locking claw on a burner side and bored in the protrusion from the other side of the body, and a fitting claw fitted to a cylinder flange. The thickness of the body is larger than the protruding height of a cylinder stem from the upper surface of the cylinder flange. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
