<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for document processing for discriminating a number of kinds of documents easily in a short period of time and improving the efficiency of the work that follows in monetary facilities, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The teller's window system comprises an image reading device 1 for reading an image of a document, a document discrimination processing part 22 for discriminating the kind of the document based on the image information read by the image reading device, an image processing part 226 for cutting out the image information on a seal impression and hand-written characters at positions according to the kind of the document discriminated by the document discrimination processing part from the image information read by the image information reading device, a seal impression collation processing part 225 for obtaining the image information on the registered seal impression from a seal impression database according to the kind of the document discriminated by the document discrimination processing part and matching the patterns of the image information on the registered seal impression and the one cut out by the image processing part, and a display device 5 for displaying the image information on the hand-written characters cut out by the image processing part and displaying the image information on the seal impression cut out by the image processing part and the image information on the registered seal impression obtained by the seal impression collation processing part in juxtaposition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
