PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas clogging preventing method for a powdered coal and gas mixed combustion boiler and its device, preventing the clogging of powdered coal due to burnt ashes and enabling continuous stable operation and quick accommodation of the change-over of a fuel. SOLUTION: A purging fluid supply pipe 26 is connected to the midway of a gas supply pipe 8 of the gas burner 2 so that a purging fluid such as air is distributed into the gas burner 2 during shut-off of the gas burner 2.
