PURIFICATION METHOD OF CARBON NANOFIBERS FOR HYDROGEN STORAGE

PURPOSE: A purification method of carbon nanofibers is provided for use as cathode materials for secondary batteries and hydrogen storage medium for fuel batteries by using hydrogen peroxide(H2O2). CONSTITUTION: The carbon nanofibers are purified by the following steps of: (S100) mixing carbon nanofibers with H2O2(18-38%) in a weight ratio of 1 : 2000-4000; (S200) heating at 60-90deg.C for 5-20hrs; (S300) cooling at room temperature; (S400) filtering to separate carbon nanofibers from H2O2 through a polymer filter paper; and (S500) drying at 80deg.C for 48hrs in oven.
