The flower box comprises at least one tray (2) with two longitudinal walls - front (2c) and rear (2e). The rear wall (2e) is elongated in form of an arch (4), which rests on top of the railing and is integral with a support wall (12), which is on the other side of the railing. The rear wall is parallel to the support wall. A second tray (3) may be provided on the inner side of the balcony and integral with the support wall (12). Water tanks are formed at the bottom of the trays (2,3) for watering the plants.
