CONDUIT FOR OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conduit for laying an optical fiber cable at the ceiling part of a sewerage pipe.

SOLUTION: The conduit is formed of a circularly-sectioned tubular body 10 molded out of a plastic material in a single body by extrusion. The tubular body 10 has a 1st conduit chamber 11 for housing a trunk wire 20 and stress- resistance wires 25 of the optical fiber cable and a plurality of 2nd conduit chambers 12 in which branch wires 28 of the optical fiber cable are stored. The conduit chamber 11 is formed from the center part to the upper part of the tubular body 10 and the conduit chamber 12 are formed in the circumferential part of the tubular body 10. The stress-resisting wires 26 are stored in the upper part of the conduit chamber 11.
