PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductor current lead which is easily assembled, small in size, and capable of carrying a large critical current. SOLUTION: The oxide superconductive current lead is composed of an oxide superconductor and electrode terminals which are connected to the ends of the oxide superconductor, respectively. The current lead has a joint at which a part of the oxide superconductor other than its end face is electrically connected to a part of the electrode terminal other than its end face, and the electrode terminal possesses a part whose sectional area is larger than that of the joint.
