PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm a place corresponding to an image on a map. SOLUTION: When an image pick-up button of a portable information terminal 1<SB>1</SB>is pushed by a user U<SB>1</SB>, a processing part 16 stores the still image data picked by an image pick-up part 10 with the positional data detected by a present position detecting part 11. When the still image data with the position data, picked up by the information terminal 1<SB>1</SB>is transferred to an image information distributing device 3 in a state of designating a storage address, the image information distributing device 3 stores the still image data in the designated storage address. When a user U<SB>2</SB>requests an image while designating the storage address, from the information terminal 1<SB>2</SB>to the image information distributing device 3, the picked-up image data of the designated storage address is returned with the positional data, and the processing part 16 displays the still image on a display part 12. When the map requesting operation is performed, the processing part 16 controls a communicating part 13, the map request is transmitted to a map information distributing device 4 while applying the positional data corresponding to the still image as a focused position coordinate, and the map with the focused position mark is displayed on the basis of the returned map information.
