<p>Dyeing and printing of cellulosic fibres with substantive dyes is effected using a dye bath contg. epoxy propyl ammonium salts or their halohydrins. Mixing may be by rapid thermofixation or over several hours at room temp. The fibres are not pretreated nor have additives incorporated in them. Suitable cpds. are R:NR'R"R"'X- (where R = 2,3-epoxy propyl; R', R" and R"' = C1-3 alkyl; X = Cl, SO4 etc.).</p> |
