METHOD OF MANUFACTURING REFLECTION PREVENTING SHEET, REFLECTION PREVENTING SHEET, OPTICAL ELEMENT AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a reflection preventing sheet having no uneven interference in a reflection preventing layer and being excellent in appearance.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the reflection preventing sheet B containing a step (1) to apply a coating liquid 3 to a surface x of a transparent resin layer of a sheet A with the transparent resin layer 2 having a projecting and recessing shape formed on the surface x wherein a material with a refractive index lower than that of the transparent resin layer 2 is contained in the coating liquid 3 and a step (2) to form the reflection preventing layer 3' by subjecting the coating liquid 3 to a hardening treatment, is characterized by subjecting the surface x of the transparent resin layer to a drying step (3) after subjecting the surface x to the coating step (1) and subsequently subjecting it to the hardening step (2).
