PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which is made small-sized, whose grip feeling is excellent and in which the information display part of a film cartridge is easy to look at. SOLUTION: In the camera provided with a cartridge chamber 5 in which the film cartridge 4 is loaded so that the feeding direction of the film 4a of the film cartridge 4 possessing the information display part 4b on a surface is inclined to an aperture 9 regulating a photographing aperture by a specified angle and a confirmation window member 20 provided on an external packaging surface 13 at the back side of a housing 1 and formed so that the information display part 4b of the film cartridge 4 loaded is visually confirmed, the thickness Dp of the confirmation window member 20 is formed larger than a distance (d) at least from the external packaging surface 13 at the back side of the housing 1 to the back side end part of a film feeding port 4c.
