摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which do not separate a mixture of homologues and isomers of dioxins, maintain its state and determine a quantity at a high resolution by using a laser spectroscopy method. SOLUTION: In the method for determining a quantity of the homologues and the isomers of the dioxins by using the laser spectroscopy method, a doppler free two- photon absorption spectrum of a sample of the dioxins, a doppler free absorption spectrum of an iodine molecule and an etalon mark are simultaneously measured by a variable wave number single mode laser light, an absolute wave number of the doppler free two-photon absorption spectrum of the sample of the dioxins is calibrated, locations (absolute wave numbers) and intensity of spectral lines of the doppler free two-photon absorption spectrum obtained from a mixture sample of the homologues and the isomers of unknown dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyl (PCBs) and the doppler free two-photon absorption spectrum of the homologues and the isomers of the dioxins and the polychlorinated biphenyl (PCBs) predetermined as an analytical curve are compared, and kinds and contents of the homologues and the isomers of the dioxins and the polychlorinated biphenyl (PCBs) in the mixture are determined.
