PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the temperature of a foamed heat insulating material of a heat insulating wall in a cooking device using microwave from rising to a temperature with the heat of a waveguide at which it secondarily foams. SOLUTION: In this cooking device having a waveguide 11 leading a microwave to a cooking chamber 6 in a heat insulating wall 4 having urethane foam inside and constituting the cooking chamber 6, since a high-temperature- resistance heat insulator 31 suppressing the heat conduction from the waveguide 11 to the urethane foam is provided between the waveguide 11 and the urethane foam, the temperature of the urethane foam of the heat insulating wall 4 does not rise to secondarily foam and secondary foaming of urethane foam 4 is prevented even if the waveguide 11 is heated by the microwave to have the temperature higher than the secondary foaming temperature of the urethane foam.
