PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ON/OFF control unit for a position information terminal with a simple configuration at a low cost capable of providing water-proof performance with a simple structure by eliminating electronic components such as switches for applying ON/OFF control to functions of detecting position information, so as to simplify an electronic circuit attendant on the functions. SOLUTION: First and second shield cases 21, 22 are configured freely slidable to a terminal unit 20, when both the cases 21, 22 are in a state as shown in Figure, since a built-in antenna of the terminal unit 20 is in a state of an exposed position, the position information detecting function is in an ON state, and when both the cases 21, 22 are moved in a direction of thick arrows, the terminal unit 20 is entirely covered to turn off the position information detecting function.
