<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening device which enables an improvement in safety and a reduction in cost by being made structurally simpler than a conventional opening device, and can also be easily applied to the existing opening device. <P>SOLUTION: This opening device is equipped with: a frame body 2 for being provided in an opening of a building, which is composed of a head 2a, a sill 2b, and right and left jambs 2c and 2d; and the door body 4 for being openably/ closably provided in the frame body 2 via a hinge 3. A cushioning material 14 for abating an impact force when a person has his/her fingers pinched between a door end of the door body 4 in a closing operation and a front edge of the jamb 2d on the side of the door end is mounted at the front edge of the jam 2d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
