<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notebook sized personal computer and its loudspeaker system capable of achieving excellent acoustic quality while maintaining portability of the computer even if the computer is a notebook sized personal computer with a low-profile and high-density installation. <P>SOLUTION: A low-profile loudspeaker 18 extending in the side direction of a display part 16 of a notebook sized personal computer 10 is installed, and a folding cabinet 19 shaped roughly like a bellow is attached to a front face of the loudspeaker 18. Preferably, when the computer 10 is in use, cabinet 19 is opened according to the opening of the display part 16 from a main body 11 so as to make enough cabinet space and improve low audio frequency characteristics. It is also possible for the loudspeaker 18 to be mounted with a hinge type metallic mounting 21 on the display part 16 and arranged backward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
