<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning system dissolving components contained in air into a water solution for processing, and simplifying complex maintenance work such as the replacement of the water solution. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning system 1, which processes air by dissolving components contained in the air, e.g. ammonium and formaldehyde, into a water solution and causing pollen and dust in the air to adsorb to the water solution, includes at least one pair of electrolytic electrodes 15 and 16 each of which is at least partially dipped in the water solution, so that the ammonium and formaldehyde dissolved in the water solution are processed through electrolysis as the water solution is sterilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
