<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tensioner which is free from deformation, cracks and falling-off by absorbing a large dynamic and thermal load even if it is applied, not influenced by a push bar, etc., and can damp sound and vibration. <P>SOLUTION: This tensioner comprises a sliding section 4 of an endless running body 3 such as a chain and belt provided on a face 2a of a metal plate 2 and a push pressure receiving section 6 for receiving the pushing pressure of a push bar 5 for applying tension to the endless running body 3 provided on the other face 2b of the metal plate 2. Since the tensioner receives the push pressure of the push bar 5 by this push pressure receiving section 6 formed with a part of the metal plate 2 by forming the push pressure receiving section 6 by bending a part of the metal plate 2, the tensioner copes with a thermal load and is free from any damage and falling off, and a dynamic load is eased by the bent section of the push pressure receiving section 6, and abnormal sound and vibration are not caused between metallic push pressure receiving section 6 and the metallic push bar 5, to attain the above purpose. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
