<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily deal with a change of an algorithm at low costs as well by processing, encryption processing, decryption processing and authenticating data in real time while using the algorithm different for each packet. <P>SOLUTION: In the data processing method, an encryption circuit is prepared for carrying out encryption processing by reading a mapping data object EMDO for realizing encryption processing stored in a memory 47 beforehand in accordance with encryption processing based upon SA information SAI extracted from an input packet PIN and by writing the mapping data object into a programmable logic element 49.
