摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low-frequency crystal oscillator which has a good frequency-temperature characteristic by adding a frequency dividing circuit by using a SAW resonator in which the cutting direction of its crystal piece is improved. SOLUTION: A SAW resonator 12 of the present invention is the high-frequency SAW resonator in which a frequency-temperature characteristic is improved by improving the cutting angles of the crystal piece to an optical axis and an electrical axis. A Colpitts type oscillation circuit 13 is oscillated at a high frequency by using the SAW resonator 12 to generate an oscillation signal of high frequency (e.g. 400 MHz) and two differential signals which are 180°out of phase with each other are generated from the oscillation signal through a differential conversion circuit 14. The differential signals are frequency-divided to generate differential oscillation signals of low frequency (e.g. 100 MHz) and an output circuit 16 shapes the oscillation signals to generate output signals of low frequency (100 MHz).
