PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an aligning device for aligning the position of a hole in a heat sink 1 and that of a semiconductor element 2 is required when the semiconductor element 2 is screwed to the heat sink 1 having a mounting hole at the center of the heat sink 1 and the prevention of the turning of the semiconductor element caused by torque upon screwing is also required. SOLUTION: The screw hole 4 is formed in the heat sink 1 so that the position of the hole of the semiconductor element 2 comes to the optimum position of the hole of the heat sink 1 by aligning the side surface of the semiconductor element 2 with that of the heat sink 1. By this method, the hole position of the semiconductor element 2 is easily aligned with that of the heat sink 1 without employing an aligning device or the like. On the other hand, the turning of the semiconductor element 2 caused by torque upon screwing is prevented by a method wherein the screw hole is formed in the heat sink 1 so that the hole of semiconductor element 2 is positioned at the optimum position of the hole of the heat sink 1 by aligning the side surface of the semiconductor element 2 with that of the heat sink 1.
