PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia content creation system and a multimedia content creation method that can facilitate the opening of multimedia content to the public on the Web even if a user uses a small terminal. SOLUTION: A mail relay server 2 intermediately receives a first e-mail from a mail sending terminal 1, and separates a mail body and an attached file of the first e-mail. A content creating means 3 converts file data on the attached file into complex multimedia content. A Web server 2 opens the complex multimedia content to the public as a webpage. The mail relay server 2 creates a second e-mail whose contents are the mail body and a URL to the webpage, and sends it to a mail receiving terminal 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
