PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize stable formation of a point image without having a light source for a pointer. SOLUTION: The pointer projector is configured to split an observed image by an optical splitting prism 11, to guide the split observed images to the pointer 16 by first and second reflection mirrors 12 and 13, a color filter 21, a condenser lens 14, and a third reflection mirror 15, to form the pointer image using the light of the observed images as a light source, to guide the pointer image to the prism 11, to superpose the same on the observed images and to deliver the images to an observation position from an observed image outlet 102.
