PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector for high precision measurement with no degradation factor such as decombination of electric charges. SOLUTION: A radiation 10 which is to be measured and radiated from a radiation source (omitted in figure) is made incident on a conductive electrode 1 which is charged by releasing electrons through interaction with the radiation 10. A weak current measuring means 2 measures the quantity of electric charge of the conductive electrode 1. An electron supply electrode may be provided as required between the radiation source and the conductive electrode as an adjusting means for the quantity of radiation, on which the radiation from the radiation source is made incident to release electrons through the interaction with the radiation.
