PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of construction of a reservoir and its assembling members for assembling and constructing the reservoir with good construction performance by improving workability of attaching and removing of temporary construction members and improving leak-prevention performance and balancing stability, by making the temporary construction members simple and functional, which members are used for assembling work of side boards by means of air-lifting. SOLUTION: A flexible sealing member, which is removably attached to the whole periphery of a lower part of an inner surface of the uppermost side end board, carries out sealing while being in contact with a generally ring-shaped next stage side board wound around an outer surface of the uppermost side board when the sealing member is lifted up from a state of contact with a surface of a bottom plate, and on the other hand, the flexible seal member, which is attached onto the bottom plate, carries out sealing while being in contact with the next stage side board under pressure when the flexible sealing member is lifted up from the state of contact with the inner peripheral surface of the uppermost side board. Thereafter, the flexible sealing member similar to the one used for the uppermost side board is mounted onto the generally ring-shaped side boards to be lifted up one by one and the lower part of the next stage side boards wound around the outer periphery of the side board to be lifted up are sealed by the flexible sealing member on the bottom plate.
