PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a mesh gauze block body in a retaining wall serving as a hedge also. SOLUTION: The constitution of the mesh gauze block body A, in which a top face is opened and which is formed in a cubic tetragonal in which each surface is composed of latticed meshes. The block body A is formed in an external shape surrounded by a front mesh 1, a rear-face mesh 2, side-face trapezoidal meshes 3 and 3 and a bottom net 4, and the block body A has a constitution in which the insides of each face are lined with a vegetation net B in which fiber sheets 5 consisting of coconut fibers or the like are reinforced by square frames 6, and the inside of the net B is filled with soil D for a vegetation and blocked. A large number of the block bodies A are disposed in rows so as to surround a residence along the borderline of a residential area or the like requiring an exterior and used as the retaining wall, and the block bodies are combined as the hedge while being used as the retaining wall for a guard fence, a soundproof blind and a low-rise building wall-surface greening by planting, vegetating and greening plant roots corresponding to seasons in soil D for the vegetation.
