PURPOSE: A needle stand and a textile keep plate elevating device of a quilting machine are characterized by being free from an impact or vibration on driving. The needle stand and the textile keep plate elevating device are capable of increasing work speed, increasing productivity, reducing noise and lengthening a machine's life. CONSTITUTION: The needle stand and the textile keep plate elevating device are comprised of: the needle stand(1) and a keep plate elevating rod installed on a case(5) to elevate in pairs; a pair of needle stands(a) connected and fixed with a fixing clip(11) and a short shaft(12); a compression spring(21), an elevating guide, a guide block and a supporting frame(24) installed on a pair of keep plate elevating rods; and the elevating guide fixed on the keep plate elevating rod with a set screw.
