PURPOSE: A satellite and terrestrial broadcasting converting system for a vehicle is provided to watch satellite or terrestrial broadcasting conveniently by automatically selecting and converting the broadcasting according to the signal level in receiving the satellite broadcasting during traveling. CONSTITUTION: A satellite and terrestrial broadcasting converting system comprises a satellite antenna receiving satellite broadcasting; a distributor(10) distributing satellite signals from the satellite antenna; a level detector(11) detecting and numerating the level of the satellite broadcasting signal from the distributor; a satellite broadcasting receiver(16) demodulating, converting and bit-streaming the satellite broadcasting signal from the distributor; a terrestrial broadcasting tuner(17) receiving and tuning the terrestrial broadcasting; a control unit selecting satellite or terrestrial broadcasting according to the signal; and a broadcasting signal converting circuit(18) converting the satellite broadcasting into the terrestrial broadcasting according to the control signal. The satellite or terrestrial broadcasting is selected and converted automatically corresponding to the signal.
