<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for grasping a state of a pet utilizing the Internet whereby a pet master can simply grasp a state of a pet staying at home and have ease of mind by utilizing the Internet technology and a personal computer or the like at home and using a mobile phone or a personal computer or the like from a remote visit place. <P>SOLUTION: An image pickup means 2 connected to a computer 1 and the computer 1 are installed in door, the image pickup means 2 photographs a pet 3 such as a dog in a room, and the computer 1 transmits photographed image data 5 of the pet 3 to a data management section 4. An access party 6 such as the master of the pet 3 accesses the data management section 4 by an access means 7 utilizing the Internet 9 and grasps the state of the pet 3 from the image data 5 of the pet 3.
