PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a mounting member inexpensive but having a high natural frequency for connecting an upper fitting and a vibrating body in a vibration isolation device used for connecting a vibrating body such as an engine to a supporting body such as a car body frame in a vibration isolation state. SOLUTION: In this vibration isolation device 10 wherein a cylindrical fitting 12 and the upper fitting 14 are connected by a vibration isolation base 16, the mounting member 18 mounted on the vibrating body 2 is fixed to the upper face of the upper fitting 14. The mounting member 18 is formed of a pressed metal plate, and comprises a fixing face 64 to the upper fitting 14 and a pair of mounting faces 66 placed at both sides and mounted on the vibrating body 2, and the mounting face 66 is positioned as an outer side in the direction perpendicular to an axis with respect to the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical fitting 12 at the upper part of the cylindrical fitting 12. A downward flange 74 is mounted over the entire periphery of the peripheral edge of the mounting member 18, and the height of the flange 74 at the edge 74a of the mounting face is determined to be higher than a height at the other part 74b.
