BIOPOLYMER DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily detecting biopolymers such as DNA and proteins through the use of semiconductor nano-particulates having exciting wavelengths and luminescence due to different particle diameters. SOLUTION: By combining the semiconductor nano-particulates with avidin (or biotin), it is possible to detect the biopolymers labelled with the biotin (or the avidin). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
