HAND-HELD LABELER

摘要

A hand-held labeler (20) has a gear driven print head (24) mounted in a housing and moveable between an initial position and a printing position. The labeler also has carrier web (W) bearing pressure sensitive labels (L), and a driver for advancing the carrier web. The housing has a manually engageable actuator (28) for moving the print head and the driver.A member (67) is disposed adjacent the driver and includes a brake surface (73) which cooperates with a brake roll (74) to apply a braking force to the composite web when the print head is at and near its initial position.
