PURPOSE: A draining device of a fuel filter for a vehicle is provided to remove water in the fuel filter conveniently by draining water collected in the fuel filter automatically if the water is over a constant level. CONSTITUTION: A draining device of a fuel filter(1) for a vehicle is composed of a float(22) installed in a lower cover(20) to float on a boundary surface of water and fuel with having the middle specific gravity of the water and fuel; a coil spring of which the upper end is connected to the lower end of the float; a discharge valve(26) including a guide bar(28) connected with the coil spring and a triangular cone tip unit(34) formed under the guide bar with a sectional area smaller than the sectional area of the float; and a dividing plate(30) into which the guide bar of the discharge valve is inserted to ascend and descend, dividing the middle of the lower cover and including a plurality of holes. The discharge valve ascends and descends to the water level by the float and the tip unit of the discharge valve opens and closes a discharge hole formed at the lower end of the lower cover.
