OPERATION SWITCH, OPERATION INPUT DEVICE, AND INPUT RECEPTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation switch capable of receiving sweep input and touch input with a simple and inexpensive constitution, corresponding the environment requiring mechanical strength and durability, and reducing the information processing load of an input processing unit performing a processing for input.

SOLUTION: In the operation switch 1, a resistance wire is winded around a trench 19 on a bobbin member 3 spirally and a sheet type elastic conductive member 9 is arranged oppositely to the resistance wire. When the elastic conductive member 9 receives a depressing pressure by an operation, a portion of the elastic conductive member 9 receiving the depressing pressure is elastically deformed to contact the opposing resistance wire locally and electrically. When performing sweep input along an axis direction A by stroking the elastic conductive member 9 with fingers, points where the resistance wire contacts with the elastic conductive member 9 electrically change sequentially and a resistance value of a circuit via the resistance wire changes discontinuously so that the sweep input is detected.
